Peter Neven,
Chair, Director of Positive Contractual Relations Ltd
Peter has over 40 years’ experience in the commercial construction industry in New Zealand.
Peter has been a Director of PCR Ltd since 2009, a boutique advisor on commercial issues within the construction industry providing services to the public and provider sector. Prior to PCR he was General Manager for The Fletcher Construction Company Limited for 17 years. Notable projects at Fletchers included the SKYCITY complex and tower, many of the major hospital rebuilds throughout NZ, Eden Park redevelopment and AMI Stadium in Christchurch for Rugby world Cup 2011, the Vero centre and PWC office Towers in Auckland City.
Peter has acted as a consultant to several parties proving advice on construction related matters. He is also a member of the Disputes Advisory Board for the new Ministry of Justice facility in Christchurch, and a member of the Disputes Review Board for the Transpower Pole 3 Project.
Peter is a member of the NZ Institute of Directors, the NZ institute of Building, and on the Board of Ngai Tahu Properties Ltd since 2014.
Ankit Sharma,
Chief Executive Officer, Master Builders
Ankit Sharma is the CEO of the Registered Master Builders Association (RMBA) in New Zealand, where he oversees the organisation’s strategic direction, long-term growth, and the development of strategic capabilities. Previously, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at RMBA. An executive with diverse experience across multiple sectors, Ankit has a strong background in corporate governance, strategy and business transformation.
Prior to joining RMBA, he held senior positions at Todd Corporation, including CEO of Todd Digital, where he spearheaded digital innovation and transformation.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and certifications in Project Management and Business Relationship Management.
Ankit is passionate about driving innovation in the construction industry and believes that the right technology and partnerships can enable the sector to innovate and grow sustainably.
Brett Murray,
Health & Safety, CE Site Safe
Brett Murray was appointed as Chief Executive of Site Safe in 2018. Brett Murray’s background in health and safety includes several senior roles with WorkSafe, MBIE and the Department of Labour.
At WorkSafe, as General Manager Operations, Brett was responsible for WorkSafe’s inspectorate and technical support functions. While Central Region Manager at the Department of Labour, Brett headed the investigation into the Pike River disaster and as GM High Hazards and Specialist Services with MBIE, later went on to establish the High Hazard Unit, which provides specialist oversight of New Zealand’s petroleum, extractives, and major hazard facilities sectors.
